photograph vs. videograph

Choose which one, photograph or videograph?

Above all, the basic principle is that either photograph or videograph is story teller: they convey messages from some view. Then, if a temporal sequence of scene is needed to illustrate a story clearly, use videograph; otherwise photograph.

The second concern is technology. At present, photography can address a view more detailed than videograph, even snopshot from videograph. So, if details are required to be demonstrated, photograph is the favorite.

For example, on a beach, videograph of sea water can not say more than photograph. While in sports centers, videograph can play better.

Note: digital camera's dynamically focusing capability can not keep up with digital video's.
